1121x588 Changelog banner - Your website_ up to 66% faster, fully protected
What it is
Most WordPress sites have already migrated to Vendasta's upgraded hosting platform. Updating your domain's DNS settings to point directly at the new platform, rather than routing through the legacy proxy, ensures your sites receive
the complete speed, stability, and security benefits of the upgrade
.
Why it's Important
If your domain still routes through the proxy, your site is missing out on optimal performance and risks performance bottlenecks. Pointing directly resolves routing errors and eliminates proxy-related issues, ensuring your clients' sites stay online, safe, and performant.
  • Boost load speeds:

Gain full edge protection against large-scale cyber attacks.
  • Protect ad revenue & SEO:
Prevent blocked ad and search crawlers so ads serve reliably and search rankings remain unaffected.
How to Access
Start with the DNS Lookup tool. Enter your
Partner ID
and it lists every domain across your accounts that still needs pointing, with the exact record to change for each one, so you do not have to check your sites one at a time. Then, for each domain on your list:
  1. Open the account in your hosting dashboard and go to
    Domain & SSL
    .
  2. Note the
    A record
    and
    CNAME
values shown at the top. Domains flagged with
    a warning triangle
    need updating.

  1. In your
    DNS provider
    or
    registrar
, set the root domain's A record and the www CNAME to those values.
  2. Where the root domain is not already primary, use
    Make primary
in the dashboard to set it.
  3. Return to
    Domain & SSL.
The warning triangle turns to a green check once the change takes effect, usually
    within an hour.
Most sites take about five minutes. If someone else manages your DNS, the tool
exports your list as a CSV
you can hand straight to them.
