Merchants can now disconnect their own Stripe account
If you've brought an existing Stripe account to Vendasta can now disconnect their own Stripe account directly.

Connect & Disconnect Stripe
- Self-serve disconnect— partners and SMBs on Bring-Your-Own-Stripe can disconnect their own Stripe account without filing a ticket
- Upfront warning— you're shown exactly what disconnecting will affect before you confirm
- Staged progress view— watch as the system finds affected customers and clears their Stripe details from your account
Why it matters
Previously, getting out of a bad Stripe connection state meant filing a support ticket and waiting on manual help. Now you can recover from a bad state yourself. Whether you're switching payment providers, resolving a misconfiguration, or just need a clean break, there's no more waiting.

- Review the warning about what disconnecting will affect.
- Confirm, and follow the staged progress view as the system clears Stripe details from affected customer records.
