Status you can filter, and notes you can keep
Track credits and remember why they were issues with the latest updates to credit notes.
  • See status at a glance:
The credit notes table has a new status column (Draft, Issued or Fully applied), with quick tabs and a filter. Each credit note shows its status too.
  • Add / edit memos post-issuance:
The internal note or memo field used to work only while a credit note was a draft. Now you can add or edit it after the credit note is issued or fully applied. It saves automatically, and every edit is tracked.
Why it matters
Before, there was no way to see which credit notes were still drafts and which were final, and once a credit note was issued you couldn't add context to it. Six months later, nobody remembered why a credit was given. Now you can find drafts that need finishing, track what's been applied, and keep a record of the reason for every credit.
Who it's for
  • Partners who issue credit notes to their clients
  • Finance and billing teams reconciling client accounts
  • Agencies that need a clear record of credits for audits or client questions
How to get started
  1. Go to
Partner Center > Commerce > Credit Notes
  2. Use the status tabs or filter to view "Draft," "Issued," or "Fully applied" credit notes
  3. Open a credit note and add or edit the internal memo. It saves automatically.
FAQs
Q: What's the difference between "Draft" and "Issued?"
A: A draft exists but hasn't been finalized, so its line items and amounts can still change. Once it's issued, they're locked.
Q: Can I edit the memo after a credit note is fully applied?
A: Yes. The memo can be added or edited at any status.
