Vendasta's support ticketing portal now supports self-serve ticket creation, color-coded statuses, and a way to tell us how your support experience went, so you always know where your open issues stand.

Better visibility into your own support tickets
When you have an issue and need help from Vendasta, it's easier to track their status and provide feedback on your experience. Here's everything that's new:
  • Color-coded status chips
on the ticket list, so you can tell what's open, waiting on you, or resolved at a glance
  • Quick-filter status tabs
across the top of the list. Hide or reorder them to match how you work
  • Latest message shows front and center
With auto-scroll to the newest message when you open a ticket record. The reply box is also right there, ready for your response.
  • Requester column
shows who on your team originally filed each ticket
  • My Tickets tab
filters the list down to just the tickets you personally submitted
  • Self-serve ticket creation
lets you submit a new ticket yourself with a subject, a description of the issue, and any teammates you want looped in, and provides an acknowledgement email confirming your submission
  • Rate your resolution
by closing your own ticket as resolved and leaving a satisfactory/unsatisfactory rating plus optional feedback, so if something wasn't handled well, it's on record instead of disappearing
  • Reopen closed tickets
if closed by accident, right from the same view
Why it matters
These updates to the support ticket dashboard make it easier to create, manage, and review support issues and your experience with their resolution.
Who it's for
  • Partners who regularly contact Vendasta Support and want a clearer view of open and resolved tickets
  • Partners managing tickets across a team, who want to see who requested what and track their own submissions via My Tickets
  • Anyone who wants to rate their support experience so recurring issues don't go unnoticed
How to get started
  1. Go to
Partner Center > Help (question mark icon in top nav) . My tickets
  2. Use the filters and status tabs up top to filter to what matters to you. Hide or reorder tabs as you like.
  3. To submit a new ticket yourself, press "Create ticket" fill in a subject, a description of the issue, and any additional participants. You'll get an email confirming your submission.
  4. Once your ticket is resolved, mark it as such, and you'll be prompted for a quick satisfactory/unsatisfactory rating with optional feedback.
  5. Closed a ticket by mistake? Reopen it from the same view.
FAQs
Q: What happens after I submit a satisfaction rating on a resolved ticket?
A: Your rating and any feedback are attached to that ticket, so if support didn't fully resolve your issue, that's flagged and visible rather than the ticket just disappearing as closed.
Q: Can I reopen a ticket I closed by accident?
A: Yes, reopen it directly from the ticket view.
Q: Will I get confirmation when I submit a new ticket through the portal?
A: Yes, you'll receive an acknowledgement email with your submission details as soon as you submit.
Q: Can I still ask our AI assistant to create a ticket for me instead of using the portal?
A: Yes, that option is unchanged. You can use either path, whichever is more convenient.
Q: Can I see tickets submitted by other people on my team, not just my own?
A: Yes, the main ticket list still shows all tickets tied to your account, with a
requester
column showing who filed each one.
My Tickets
is just a quick filter to your own.
