Log calls and emails without this bcc or yesware workaround

The fact this isn't already a thing boggles me. If you click email under a contact name, that email should inherently be logged and tracked on all future communication in that thread under activity. This is literally out of the box solution with competitors like hubspot.
Telling my customers to remember to BCC a special email every time or we need to buy yesware for such a small function will not work. Also, if it isn't already, M365/outlook should be figured out BEFORE gmail. M365 is adopted by the majority of businesses.

Also, replies to that email should be logged as well. In HubSpot I can click email contact, now every email back and forth (if the email originated in hubspot) is recorded under one activity in the activity thread.
Again this was out of the box with hubspot and I feel like should be a no brainer.
