Why can't you set new projects as recurring? Why is the only option to create one from template?

It wouldn't be so bad if the same template can be edited and reused without affecting current projects that were generated using the template.

In my case, we have the need for a lot of recurring projects with different and unique schedules. I feel like it defeats the purpose of templates if you can't reuse. But it's our only way of creating recurring tasks.

I'm requesting that recurring task be independent of template. I should be able to still choose a project template - THEN - apply recurring schedule to it if needed.

Setting up templates can be complicated and include many tasks. It can be very time consuming to setup new templates but it's super quick to apply recurring schedule to them.
